A Colorado Artist
With Sawdust on Her Sketchbook
Sandy Caughlan is a Colorado illustrator, author, artist, and woodworker whose work blends craftsmanship with a sharp, offbeat sense of humor. A lifelong maker across mediums — from paint and digital illustration to woodworking and textile arts — Sandy creates designs that feel calm at first glance and delightfully unhinged once you look closer. Her projects, including whimsical coloring books and character‑driven artwork, bring personality to quiet spaces and offer a playful escape for anyone who appreciates creativity with a wink.
“It feels like someone turned an inside joke into really good design.”
